are party favors for adult paries or kids paries or both?
my brother in law says that they are only for adult parties….
sorry i forgot the T in parties…i swear i can spell!

Different favors for different age groups.
For kids, the party favors should be candy and noisemakers and things like that.
For adults, party favors should be things like personalized wine glass tags.

party favors are usually more of a kid thing, but depending on what you include in the bag-o-goodies, it can easily be either. My mom always had party favors with little knick-knacks from the dollar store. But party favors at adult parties are very nice too. Little sampler perfumes and colognes are always nice… gift cards… those are always a great idea!

kids always get goody bags…..they are even sold with the rest of the party supplies
nothing wrong with giving more mature types of favors…..like, you get "favors" at a wedding

party favors? like candy and little toys and stuff? ya that can be for any age. the favors just very on what age. like you dont want an over the hill favor for a 4 year old
or a dragon tales sticker for a 40 year old. lol
Well it depends on what kind of party favors you’re talking about. There are definitely some strictly adult type ones out there.. but of course not all of them are like that. He sounds a little slow…. but then again if you’re confused about party favors….
But seriously, they can be for both and/or one or the other depending on what they are.

id say kids but who cares as long as they taste nice.

I think you should be sure to make sure they are age appropriate of course, but you can throw any kind of party and use party favors! I personally love a cheesy party favor… they can be fun and a good conversation piece sometimes

For kids: Goodie bags, candy, stickers, arts & crafts, bubbles, crayons/coloring books, etc. Anything kid related and themed to the party, really.
For adults: CD’s, Adult store novelty items, shot glasses, matchbooks, etc. Again, anything themed to the party.
They are for both. for kids the best thing is to get a bag full of candy, pencils, bubble blowers, and bouncy balls… i see it all the time. plus, you can give adults a gift card or some nice chocolates. party favors are really acceptable for any age as long as its not too much to where it makes people uncomfortable. with party favors, its important to not try too hard to be creative… nothings worse than a weilr party gift:)
I am surprised your brother in law would say that since kids parties are HUGE. Walk into any party store and you will find walls of party favors. Favors for adults…..not so much, unless it’s a special occasion party like a wedding or bar/bat mitzvahs.

Really it is entirely up to you if you want to give party favours, irrelevant if whether it’s a child’s an an adult’s party but generally they are for both.
For kids parties it usually consists of party bags that have goodies and maybe a small toy that the kids get to take with them when they leave.
For adults there are always party favours at weddings – little bags of chocolates etc.
It is completely up to the preference of the party giver whether or not they want to do this however, if it’s something you would like to do go ahead and do it, if it’s your party it has nothing to do with your brother in law so ignore him.

Not true, they can be for both. If you are having a kids party then you could give then like some candy or a toy from the dollar store. If you are having an adult party then you could give them something sophisticated like a sweet treat or like a five dollar gift card to some well known store.
Not only are they for both, but they have them for numerous themes. Just go to your local party heaven or whatever party store is in your neck of the woods and take a look around!
