Carnival Themed Birthday Party. ?
For my son’s 1st birthday coming up we are planning to throw him a carnival themed birthday party. The kids there will be ranging in ages 1-5/6, and I was wondering if anyone had any unique ideas.
I’m mostly trying to be creative with the games/activities, and the decorations. Any suggestions. ??
[any money saving ideas would be greatly appreciated. Lol.]
Also, what are the best sites to order inexpensive party supplies online. ?? [favors, decorations, etc...]
You could play pin the nose on the clown? or better yet hire a real clown?! one that could make balloon animals….yeah that would be aweeome.! lol…
tattoo’d man, bearded lady ..conjoined twins…sword swallower
Couple of toothless carnies making kettle corn and blowing up balloon animals
not sure about where you are..but I live in Georgia..and we have a hobby lobby..its a craft store….they have some party decorations..and one of them is a carnival theme…its adorable and we are doing it for our daughter’s 2nd birthday.
I decorate cakes, so I am making her cake..she loves trains and animals, so her cake is coming from the wilton’s 3d cake pan..and I am going to make fondant animals to put on the caboose.
we are going to have loads of balloons (she loves balloons) and a few party games for the other kids.
normally we throw the party somewhere, and it costs us around 215 -250 for the whole party last year when we had it at this jumpy house place..this year, with me making the cake, and buying the decorations…we are going to instead put that money into renting…a train..crazy? my husband thinks so too..however…we got clearance from our home community, and all the kids in the community are invited for one train ride for 3 dollars..the proceeds will be going to relay for life..a cancer fund raiser
but really..for the most part, we are just grilling out with family and friends, and having some games..the over the top part is the train..but hey..its the same price as last years party..so whats the difference?
but as I said..if you have a hobby lobby in your area..go and check them out, not sure if all the stores carry the same..but maybe they can order it for you from one of their other stores..if not..email me..and maybe I we can get an idea on how to get them to you? they were the only plates I was able to find with a carnival theme….always check ebay as well.
