Do you think this theme is nice for my sons birthday party?

My son is turning 1 and I am celebrating his birthday on Saturday October 18th. I have a theme in mind that I found online and it is so cute. The link is below. Let me know what you think. Not too cheesy?

It is going to be an indoor/outdoor birthday. What I mean by that is, my son has TONS of cousins that will be coming so we will be having activities and food inside and outside we will be renting a huge inflatable bouncer. Im just worried about the weather. I live in Jersey. Do you think it will be tooooo cold for the kids to be jumping outside. (The older kids, because the smaller ones will be inside playing game)

Thank you so much in advance for your advice.

I think it’s cute! And so what if it is cheesy (which I’m not saying it is); it’s a first birthday-a milestone-you gotta be a little cheesy! :) And I don’t know how the weather is there, but let people know there will be outdoor activities and they should know to bring a sweater.

Happy 1st Birthday to your son!

I think that seems like a nice theme for a 1 year old’s birthday party. It’s a little cheesy but it’s also for a kid. It’s supposed to be.

I think that the inflatable bouncer sounds really fun! I don’t think that it will be a problem with the cold. I think that as long as parents know ahead of time so that they can prepare to bundle up the kids. Also most of the time they have to take their shoes off for that so I would make sure that they all know to have really warm socks on. The kids won’t notice the cold, but you may have some red cheeks and runny noses after wards, so be prepared for that. I would have hot chocolate/apple cider/coffee outside for the adults who have to stand around and watch them. Sounds fun!

I think it is very appropriate for a 1 year old’s birthday party. And no, I don’t think it will be too cold. I live in Maine and October usually isn’t that cold, besides the fact that kids don’t care about the weather. They are more resiliant and I think a lot of people tend to be way too protective of their kids when it comes to the cold.

That is such a cute theme. And as far as being too cheesy..it’s supposed to be!! :) I don’t know about the weather, I live in Georgia so I know the weather would be find here. That is also a good idea for the older kids and then play younger games with the younger kids. Good thinking! Good Luck and tell him Happy Birthday!

I think the theme is sweet. It depends what you are going for. I, personally, do not prefer the super animated, almost corny patterns…. but it is a child’s party, so many think it’s acceptable.

As far as the weather, I’m not too sure because I don’t spend much time on the East Coast. I do live in Colorado though and the weather changes drastically all the time. I would let the families know that are attending to dress their children warm since there will be outdoor activities as well. I think as long as they are informed, they will come prepared come rain or shine!

    Good luck!

No I think it is very nice! I remember when I had my son’s 1st birthday party it was hard to find something super cute for a boy. Remember, this year is really the only year you get to do whatever you want…you want to do something cheesy this year. I just had my son’s 2nd birthday party a few weeks ago and it was so different because he wanted a say in things. Do it your way this year!!! I like it!

There is nothing cheesy about it, and it is cute. Make sure you get the teddy bear to sign, we did for my daughter’s 1st birthday and I love it! Anyway good luck with the weather, I’m no meteorologist.

I think that stuff is cute for a first birthday because i used the same thing for my son this year for his and it worked out great i don’t think it’s cheesy at all even the younger children enjoyed all the stuff so i think it will be fine and i think it will be fine for the older kids to be outside on the inflatable bouncer . if its a little chilly or whatever just make sure they have a light jacket or hoodie on or something to keep them worm even tho all the jumping will keep them worm they will prob want to take it off after a while hope this was helpful to you

That’s a really cute theme! As far as being too cold in Jersey?- I’m not sure since I don’t live on the East Coast, but it may be a bit much for your sons 1st Birthday. You could always do other things like Arts ‘n Crafts (girls can make princess crowns, boys can make paper hats, and both could make picture frames, etc.). Good luck!
