DS lite or PSP?
Im looking to update my handheld game system from GBA to either PSP or the DS lite. I really just want a hand held game for the gaming part of it, my blackberry handles my music,videos and pictures ^^. The Psp has graphics but the load times are really long and the battery life BLOWS….From what i hear. The DS is not as stylish and the games are generally aimed for younger kids { dont get me wrong i will probably buy mario for the Ds if i get it}. Im looking for a portable game system that can allow me to play games like Final Fantasy, Command and Conquer, Age of Mythology or any other game like that. I also get some kicks from games like cooking mamas cook off for the wii, and wario ware xD some kid games are fun. So which would be best for me? The PsP or the DS lite?{Crimson red of course}
if its for gaming i would definately go with the ds lite…i love my psp but they don't make many good games for it.
Well.. as you said, most nintendo made games such as Wario and mario are on DS and will never come out on PSP but I myself would go for the PSP. The reason is, its not only handheld game system, its a portable media system, movies games, music, INTERNET lol. and as for the battery life, its not so bad, mine last for maybe 6 hours. And not only that, your could, i guess, "hack" it and play other game system games on it, like Super nintendo games, or N64 games, even Playstation games. the only downside is the cost, simply because you're not only buying the system, you're buying the mem stick which is like double the price. But then again your saving money on games because you could simply download the games.. Check these sites for more information on "hacking" lol

Also there is a Final Fantasy game coming out soon so.. ya lol and i like the games PSP, mostly because its somewhat mnore time consuming, aka i play the RPG games, like Monster Hunter, Jeanne D'Arc, Disgaea PSP etc.
PSP will allow you to play them games, the DS is more for younger children

I have both systems and I prefer the DS. I think that the psp games sucks.(no offense anyone)
