R.I.P. Joey
Joey + Tators + The Who = quite the combo. Laughed at the attempt by Joey at the Daltry mike swings. Very Cool. Thanks.
Ross’s attempts at Townshend leaps were amusing, too. I would’ve been SO cool to have been there live! A memory for a lifetime!
I was there. Can’t believe that it’s been ten years.
Priceless…
This is amazing! thank you for posting this … dick manitoba is a legend..JOEY IS A HERO!
We miss you Joey, more than ever! you were the GLUE that held our scene together!
Very important, thanks!
I’m gonna cry
it pisses me off that all my friends say the who had no effect on what would become punk. the influence is so obvious, especially when you hear the father of punk singing a who song.
Wasn’t “My Generation” the first punk song ever?
Look at its structure and lyrics. And it was written in 1964.
Plus i think (but i might be wrong) that the Who were the first to use fifth chords regularly while playing.
yep. they really revolutionized music far more than people give them credit for.
i think henry rollins was in the crowd 4 this, he once said he went to a dictators show w/ joey and joey sang on stage
never again !
thank my gode joey can’t hear that shit !
limbido
OMG! I dare say The Who were the original punks if you don`t want to put Jerry Lee Lewis in that cat. Moon The Loon being the biggest punk poster with his antics. Sex Pistols covered several of their songs. Without the Who, there would not be punk as we “knew” it.
Joey !
We miss ya Joey….. you made my ears bleed .
It was written in 1965.
